  1. I've shopped for mountain dulcimer CD's for some time now and finally discovered Kevin Roth. Some artists sing along while playing their dulcimer. I'm not a fan of that--would rather just hear the instrument. Some artists play numerous songs but use the same style of strumming/playingboring!

  7. "THE GHOST PEPPERS"! Ehukai Teves and Lois Hornbostel have an official group name for their appearances at clubs and general events - "THE GHOST PEPPERS." Ehukai raises these world-class hot peppers. Like them, the music is "hot," but also sweet and dramatic. You can hear that music on Ehukai and Lois's new CD, "The Ghost Peppers - Live from Bryson City," available soon from the .
  8. The debut album by this English progressive/folk trio has aged extremely well. The songs, although not strikingly original, offer an eerie mix of traditional- and fantasy-based (and even science fiction-inspired) lyrics that are rather striking to hear in the 21st century.
  9. Dulcimer's debut album is a quite nice collection of soft progressive folk material. The album is a pretty consistent package and there's nothing major to complain about here. The lack of clear standout tracks is the reason why I'm not rating this with a better rating. Pretty much a three stars album.
